A Message About Protection • Political Message & Oracle Card Reading

This week I did not include a political oracle card reading in the Early Access Newsletter because there were several other things I wanted to share. I was also feeling worn down by everything unfolding and needed to step back for a moment. Today I checked in to see what message might come through, and it felt important enough that I did not want to leave it unspoken.

Why It May Be Wise to Cover Your Eyes Right Now

With the recent violence in the US, the message “just cover your eyes” lands differently. This is not about denial. It is about nervous system protection in a moment when images, headlines, and repeated exposure can overwhelm rather than inform.

There is a difference between being informed and being saturated. When violence is replayed endlessly, it can pull people into fear, reactivity, and emotional paralysis. Covering your eyes, even briefly, can be an act of regulation. It allows you to step out of shock long enough to stay grounded, steady, and clear.

The Conjunction card speaks to shared space and collective experience. Right now, that collective space is charged. When emotions are fused too tightly, people can lose perspective and become absorbed into a single, reactive current. Choosing when and how you engage helps you remain an individual within the collective, not consumed by it.

Covering your eyes does not mean looking away forever. It means choosing timing. It means deciding when you are resourced enough to witness, process, and respond rather than simply absorb. Discernment matters when everything feels loud and urgent.
