I’ve talked with a lot of friends lately who’ve said they’re not sure how to meditate, or that they can’t seem to sit still and quiet their minds. I used to feel the same way!
Earlier this year, I decided to try a 30-day meditation challenge, and those 30 days truly changed me. I meditate for 10–15 minutes daily now, and can’t imagine missing that time for myself. Once you find your groove, it opens the door to deeper intuition and inner clarity.
There are so many ways people say you should meditate, but honestly, it’s about finding what works best for you. I’d love for you to try meditating for two or three days this week and maybe we can work up to a 30-day challenge together.
To start, here are a few things that helped me when I was learning: sometimes I sit cross-legged, other times with my legs stretched out in front of me. Remember to sit somewhere you have good back support, so your body can truly relax. There’s no wrong way, what matters most is creating a space where your body feels supported and your mind can soften and settle.
