Raise Your Vibration by Kyle Gray

My Honest Thoughts on Raise Your Vibration by Kyle Gray

I finished Kyle Gray's Raise Your Vibration last week and I have been thinking about it since, which is usually a good sign a book actually did something to me instead of just entertaining me for a few hours.

Vibration is a topic I come back to again and again on this blog, and honestly, I probably always will. It is one of those foundational pieces of this work that touches everything else, so if you have been following along with my newsletter or posts for a while, you have probably seen me talk about it a lot. You can also find a bunch of that content over on my Start Here page if you want to dig deeper.

Full disclosure. A lot of what is in this book was not new information for me. I have been doing this work on myself for a long time now, energy clearing, daily practices, the whole thing, so plenty of it landed as more of a nod than a lightning bolt. If you have been in the spiritual trenches for a while too, some chapters might feel like a reunion with an old friend rather than a first introduction.

But here is the thing. Just because I already knew it does not mean it was not worth reading. Some of the best spiritual books are not about learning something brand new. They are about being reminded of what you already know so you actually start doing it again.

And if you are newer to this, or you are somewhere in the middle of figuring out your own path, this book might genuinely change how you move through your day.

What It's Actually About

Kyle Gray breaks the whole concept of vibration down into practices you can actually use, not just vague concepts you nod along to and then forget by Wednesday. He walks through trusting your inner guidance, clearing out energy that is not yours to carry, being honest in a way that does not create chaos, and generally making the choice to be the good version of yourself that is already in there somewhere.

None of this is rocket science. Everything is energy, your energy affects what you attract, raise the energy and life gets easier to move through. You have probably heard some version of this before, maybe from me. But Kyle has a way of laying it out that feels less like a lecture and more like a friend explaining something over coffee.

The Part That Actually Got Me

What I appreciated most is that this book does not pretend high vibration means walking around in a permanent state of bliss while nothing bad ever touches you. Kyle is upfront that life still gets messy, hard days still happen, and raising your vibration is not a magic shield against being human. It is more about building the tools so you can find your way back to center faster when things do get gnarly.

That distinction matters. I have read spiritual books that make it sound like if you are doing everything right, you should feel amazing all the time, and if you do not, you are failing somehow. This one does not do that. It just hands you practices and lets you use them when you need them, no guilt trip attached.

Who Should Actually Read This

If you are brand new to spirituality and energy work, this is a genuinely great entry point. It is accessible, it does not talk down to you, and it gives you real practices instead of leaving you to figure it all out on your own.

If you are further along, like me, you might not find a ton of shocking new revelations, but you will probably still walk away with a few reminders you needed. Sometimes the work is not learning something new. Sometimes it is just being told again, in a slightly different way, what you already know so it finally sticks.

Either way, this book is a great read, packed with practices to help you get closer to wherever you are trying to go in your journey. And if you have already been doing this work for a while, think of it less as a mind blowing revelation and more as a nudge to keep going with practices you already know work.
