Fear of Being Seen or Heard: A Short Meditation
Find a comfortable position and close your eyes.
Take a slow breath in and let it go.
Bring to mind the idea of being seen. Just as you are, nothing to prove.
Notice what comes up in your body. A tightness, a pull to shrink. Just notice it.
No judgment.
Place a hand on your chest and breathe into that space.
Say silently to yourself:
Being seen is not the same as being in danger.
That was an old message.
This is a new moment.
I am allowed to take up space.
I am allowed to have a voice.
I am safe to be here fully.
Take one more breath.
And as you exhale, let go of just a little of the weight of staying small.
When you're ready, open your eyes and carry a little more of yourself into your day.
