Bubble Up Meditation
Sometimes you don't need a deep, heavy meditation. Sometimes you just need to feel light again. This one's quick, a little silly, and surprisingly effective when life feels flat. Settle in for a couple of minutes and let's get fizzy.
Find a comfortable seat or lie down, whatever feels good right now.
Take a slow breath in. Let it out with a soft sigh.
Picture tiny bubbles gathering at your feet.
Fizzy
light
playful
Like your toes just got dunked in champagne.
Breathe in.
Feel them tickle and pop around your ankles.
Breathe out.
Let them rise up through your calves and knees.
With each breath, the bubbles climb higher.
Up through your thighs.
Through your belly,
fizzing away anything heavy you've been carrying today.
Breathe in.
They reach your chest, bubbling gently around your heart.
Breathe out.
Up through your shoulders,
down your arms,
out through your fingertips.
Breathe in.
The bubbles rise through your neck and into your face,
softening your jaw, your eyes, your forehead.
Breathe out.
They pop quietly at the crown of your head,
releasing a little fizz of light into the air above you.
Take one more breath.
Feel how light you are now
, like you're made of sparkle instead of stress.
Whenever you're ready, give your fingers a wiggle and come on back. You're bubbly, you're bright, and you're good to go.
Carry that fizz with you for the rest of your day, you've earned it.
