Mantra Meditation: “I Am Light”
What it is
Mantra meditation is a simple practice where you repeat a word or phrase silently or out loud to anchor your mind. The mantra becomes a steady rhythm that helps bring you into stillness, focus, and inner calm.
Why it Helps
Repeating a mantra quiets mental noise, soothes the nervous system, and shifts your energy toward clarity. It keeps your mind from wandering, supports emotional balance, and creates a sense of inner grounding. Even a few minutes can help you feel more centered, calm, and connected to your own energy.
“I Am Light”
Close your eyes and take a soft, steady breath in.
Let your shoulders drop as you exhale.
Bring your awareness to the center of your chest.
Imagine a warm, gentle glow forming there.
Silently repeat the mantra:
I am light.
I am calm.
I am here.
Let the words flow with your breath inhale light, exhale tension.
If your mind wanders, come back to the mantra:
I am light.
I am calm.
I am here.
Take one more slow breath, feel the glow expand through your whole body, and when you’re ready, gently open your eyes.
