A Presence Meditation


Find a comfortable spot and take a slow breath in. Let it go.

Do that once more.

Now just notice. The weight of your body where it meets the chair.

The temperature of the air.

Any sounds nearby.

You are not trying to change anything, just observe what is already here.

Take another breath and feel your feet on the floor.

Solid ground.

You are here.

This moment is the only one asking anything of you right now.

Not the next thing on your list. Not yesterday. Just this.

Breathe.

Notice.

Stay.

When you are ready, take one full breath and carry this feeling with you into your day.

You were here. That is everything.
